|
Christina Neumeyer is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice serving the North County area. She is a recycling advocate, breastfeeding educator, youth group leader, mother to two active boys, devoted wife and a daily meditation practitioner. Yes! It’s possible to juggle many balls and wear several hats and still find a few minutes every day to relax the body and focus the mind. Her goal in providing a meditation class to the community is simple: to teach each and every one of us how to slow down, breathe deeply, and enjoy life with a calm and mindful approach. Many of us run through our day, tossed about like a sailboat in a storm. Meditative skills enable us to calm the mind, body, and spirit, reducing stress, anxiety and fear. Quiet contemplation suggests that we can steer our day with an earnestness and direction while simultaneously feeling lighter and more open to the world at large.
